!MINECRAFT!

This is the funnest game in the world! I play it a lot! I even got another app so I could make the game even better! It’s super fun and you get to build and create anything you want at least that’s in creative!

Creative: In this kind of world type you get to create anything you like and you have unlimited things. You also can enable cheats and command things like @s give command block, or / day time that one is always fun. You can also spawn eggs and get animals, and you can get some things that you can’t get in survival! Like name tags those are hard to find if you don’t live by the desert and even worse if the desert you live in doesn’t have a desert temple.

Survival: Yep. Here you don’t start with a inventory full of unlimited stuff, you have to go chop down wood to make an ax, and get stone to make a furnace, that’s right in this mode you start from square one! You better kill 3 sheep before night to make a bed otherwise, mobs will come out and get you and you’ll drop all of your stuff and be back where you spawned. Here is some tips for playing survival:

  1. Do not go far from your spawn if you do not have a bed

2. get lots of weapons and food, mostly food before you venture off.

3. If you happen to start on a tiny island full of ‘nothin 😁 which would be incredibly funny😂 { But don’t feel bad if you do its happen to everybody who plays Minecraft!} Go in Creative by your settings on the menu and fly using the up button or A to another island!

4. If your one island had wood make a boat and row to another island, if you run into a sea temple mark it on a map and avoid it. If you are more experienced in the game and happen to have water breathing potions and a diamond sword on you can go fight the guardians! Don’t forget the diamond armor!

5. Forgot to mention you should probably make a house the first chance you get because in survival its either dig a home, build a home, or get eaten in the night! Only 2-3 of those things sounds good. Also, make a farm it will be your source of food, crops, and animals! If you think I’m not right go read a Minecraft book, but they’ll say the same thing I will!

Anyway, that’s pretty much all I have to say today…. beside from: MINECRAFT!!!!! Which is the best game ever if I do say so myself, I love this game others should play it to its on any iPad, the Nintendo, any Xbox, any Phone, any device basically, but its a really kid-like game and let me just say Creative probably lets us kids use our imaginations the BEST!! So, keep playing and keep following and worshiping Jesus! Bye-Bye!

UPDATE: Hello! This is present day ava! I realized that I had this draft just sitting in here since 2019! That’s crazy! It’s 2023 now! 4 years! DANG! Also, I’ll make sure I do an update on Minecraft for all my gamer lovers out there! TTYL! ❤️😊

Halloween!

In my opinion, Halloween is fun, but all the creepy ghouls could never scare me too much! I have Jesus by my side, and I know that he is here for me, and will never let me be scared by something as fake as a witch, or a creepy clown. I want to share a few verses regarding some of the things you could encounter and fall into on Halloween.

  • Ephesians 5:11- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].
  • Ephesians 4:27- Neither give place to the devil.
  • 1 Corinthians 10:21- “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.”
  • 1 Peter 5:8- “Be sober-minded; be watchful.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:22- “Abstain from every form of evil.”
  • Isaiah 5:20- “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.”
  • Romans 13:12- “The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

Remember, It does not mean don’t celebrate it! Just know that God is keeping you safe, and make sure that you stay safe as well! Don’t fall into any of Satan’s terrible traps that look so innocent on a night as fun and full of candy as Halloween! I hope your holiday is filled with fun and safety! TTYL! ❤️😊

God’s Word During a Hard Time

I remember the first time I switched schools, I was in first grade and we were moving to the country so I transferred to Oak Valley for second grade. That was a hard time for me. Honestly I was so scared, but guess what! I knew that Jesus and His guardian angels were watching over me! Now I love my new school and new friends, and I’ve learned a lot. God has a path for all of us. I know whatever path God has for me is good, and I want you to know God has a good path for you, too. Here I’ll tell you a story where Jesus came and swooped in for me recently. It all started Easter morning. We dipped eggs, we did an Easter egg hunt, it was great. Then my mom told us a story of how Jesus died on the cross and washed all of our sins away. So that night I prayed, “Jesus, you are good and I know you will guide me on a path, forgive me for any sins I have done today. You do miracles, help me be more brave during the Coronavirus.” Ok so I know how this COVID-19 is causing a barrel load of trouble and many of us are very scared, but JESUS is still looking out for us; he is watching over all of you! This is the verse that my brothers and I wrote down and put in our kitchen so we see it every day: “For the spirit God gave us does not make us scared, but gives us power, love, and self control.” 2 Timothy 1:7. This means God created us to be brave, even during a scary and lonely time like this! I have some ideas for you that might be fun while you’re sheltering at home.

1. Go to my instagram: @AvasBraveAdventures and join my virtual nature club!

2. Have family fun days and play board games or play cards or hide and seek!

3. Do cookouts.

4. Write a letter to encourage someone!

5. Use your imagination!

6. Put on plays or puppet shows!

Don’t be scared or frightened by this virus we will make it through, and remember JESUS has a good plan for you through thick and thin!! Stay Safe! Wash your hands!!!

Pismo Beach

Pismo beach is the best beach ever, my family has a condo there! It’s really nice and you have a walk access to downtown Pismo, which is sorta under construction right now. You can walk on the pier and see dolphins and whales! There is also a grate on the pier where you can throw in pennies and wish for stuff. I wished for a horse and now I have one! That’s cool right?!! My grandma and papa also have a beach house that is really nice it’s right by downtown too just a little further. You have to walk through a really cool tunnel to get there. There is also a park in Shell Beach called Dinosaur Caves Park. They recently updated it so its a lot better than it first was, but it was good at first too. Pismo beach is close to Shell Beach, Avila beach, Morro bay, San Luis Obispo, Cayucos, and a lot of other beaches if you live in Tulare its about a beautiful 2 hour drive, you can see Elk and Texas longhorns along the way. Lots of wildlife and mountains and hills!

Pismo beach has lots of rentals in it, and really big hotels, the newest one was built recently and is very modern and has a marbely look to it. The second one is also really nice and has a rooftop pool! I’m sure they’ll make more hotels in Pismo. There is also a R.V park for all year around if you don’t want to stay in a hotel. The beaches are really nice and have lots of space to walk and collect shells. If you’re up on the pier then you can watch the surfers surf or kids boogey boarding. I personally am scared of surfing but LOVE boogey boarding. My mom wants to teach me to surf one day. I enjoy walking up and down the beach looking for shells and cool rocks. My papa and I love to play Frisbee on the beach by the volleyball nets. And one last thing, the sunset! That is Pismo’s most prized possession. It is purple, pink, baby blue, golden yellow, rosy bluesy pink, it is the most beautiful thing ever! I hope you enjoy Pismo as much as I do!

Here are some things we like to do in Pismo in case you are going to visit soon:

  1. Find new lookout points over the ocean. Drive down the 101 and look for signs!

2. Go to Avila Valley Barn and get ice cream, fresh fruit, and feed the animals. I like to call it Ally Balley Sue, because that’s what I called it when I was a little kid.

3. Shop at thrift stores in Arroyo Grande, we call it treasure hunting and our favorite store is California Cool.

4. Downtown Pismo Beach bowling alley, it’s our favorite!

5. Visit the aquarium in Avila! Make sure its open before you go!

6. Walk down to the creek and see wildlife in Arroyo Grande, and by wildlife I mean Chickens!

7. You can visit the nearby California Missions… San Luis Obispo, La Purisima, and Santa Ynez

8. Take a long walk at Oso Flaco Lake which starts out in the forest and ends in a surprise that I won’t tell! I think it starts in Guadalupe. The end of the trail is the best part! And you walk over a long bridge over a lake, it’s so cool.

9. Camp/Drive out on the dunes.

10. Watch the breathtaking sunset from Boosinger Park. You can climb up on the rocks and look out over Pismo and it’s truly a lovely sight.

!Roadside Stand!

We have a roadside stand at 25221 Road 68 It’s pretty chilly outside so we are inside but our lettuce stand is still open just park in our front driveway and I’ll rush out to sell you Red romaine, or some plain Jane green lettuce. You can also order some hot chocolate! I will run inside and make you some, and be with your drink shortly! You can also get a bag if you happen to buy lots of lettuce, if we run out we have plenty more in our backyard garden. We will go out there if you stop and we’ll be actually standing out there later when it gets warmer. Hot Chocolate is 2$ Lettuce is 2 handfuls for 5$, and 1 handful of lettuce is 3$! Make sure to stop by 25221 again that’s 25221 Road 68 I like to say it like this, ” 2-5-2-2-1 Don’t be late for road 68!” Yep. That’s how I say it. You can also read more about our roadside stand on Instagram @avasbraveadventures or you can visit my mom @Korrieann! So visit us! Bye-Bye!

The Snow!

The snow is so fun! We went up to Sequoia National Park, and I wish we would have planned it because if I had my school ID card with me then we would’ve got in FREE! Yes I mean it the whole car would’ve got in free! We needed snow chains, at least we thought we did, but you just need to tell the park ranger you have them on board not on the car, then they tell you your good to go! I loved, loved, loved when we got up to the snow,it was like a magical winter wonderland! The scary part about being up in the snow is your higher then 5,000 feet up in the sky! Ya. Scary. When you have your family there and Jesus to watch over you along with his guardian angels nothing could go wrong! Right!?

Something went wrong!!!!! We. Got. Stuck! In. TRAFFIC! The most horrible thing that could happen, when you are going up the mountain. There was also like no service. A cool part was we got to look at where my dad proposed to my mom! It was behind a tree in wood- something it was a place where all these kids go sledding! We didn’t bring a sled or the right clothing so we didn’t sled. My mom, Alec, Pete, and I went on a walk and played in the snow for a little bit. Pete liked the sound of the snow under his feet! Screech-thump-shh-schumpeter! That’s what it sounded like! We also went to Long Lodge I think that was what it was called anyway….. Anyway, there was a market there full of snacks and the whole car of people was hangry! That means everybody was hungry and angry! A good combination! Ha! 😂😁😇! I grabbed snacks, candy, and donuts! Me and my dad love the donuts that I picked out! I also got some chips and other stuff that tasted really yummy in my tummy! We were all really hangry because the drive to Sequoia National Park is like 3 hours! we went 3 hours without eating, I didn’t even eat breakfast! Although I would have Long Lodge market food any time! Then it was time to head home! Yes I got to sit in the front on the way home cause’ on the way here sitting in the back-back of the car doesn’t give you the best view of your beautiful surroundings. It really doesn’t! Then on the way home I said, ” We won’t run into traffic” and my dad was like, ” Great job @avasbraveadventures you just jinxed it” But we didn’t run into traffic the whole way home! Well we ran into some before I jinxed it! So that doesn’t count! Any way I just want you to know you should never be scared or in fright by heights or something you are scared of because Jesus and the guardian angels he sends to protect you will always be there and your family will always be there for you too! Well that’s all I have to say for today, check me out on Instagram at @avasbraveadventures and also be sure to subscribe to my blog! When your on Instagram be sure to check my mom out to! She’s @korrieann and their vacation rental company is @guestequity! Bye-Bye

Pete & Paisley

The two P’s also known as the two mischief makers!!! What can I say though, they are so cute together!!! Whenever they get in trouble they just do a little cute face so they don’t get in trouble! Paisley just learned how to stand up and can already crawl well…. Pete can walk so when Paisley learns to walk they can be an even better mischievous team!! That can’t be good. You are probably wondering who in hay’s sake is Paisley? Well she’s my riding coach Kelsey’s baby daughter. She always has a smile and a laugh for everyone when she’s around! Pete is my 1 year old brother, if you’ve read any of my other blog posts you would already know who Pete is. We’ve already arranged their marriage, it will be the cutest wedding ever, they’ll be everything together! Well all I have to say is Pete & Paisley make a great team, great match, and great partners crime, and they both do big blowouts. Traveling with them isn’t always fun, I was almost guaranteed to jump out of the window and just be like, “wheeeeeeee, so long babies!” I’m sure you’d like to know I didn’t do that, but I was very close to, so very close! The reason they aren’t great travel buddies is because they like take shifts crying and screaming at the top of their lungs! Otherwise, they are both great babies! They make a great team! Bye-Bye!

Family Trip: Wyoming

Yes!!!!! Road Trip!! Wyoming was so fun!!!!!! We traveled from our home in California through Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah! We were gonna go through Las Vegas, but when my dad checked the temperature it was supposed to be like 110 so we were like, “Pass!” Ha ha! The night before we left was my brother Pete’s first birthday. My grandma gave us some suggestions on where to go and we circled it on a map. When we went through Nevada we sang the song Havana, but instead of “Havana” we sang, “Nevada Ooh Na Na!” It was so fun but the view was not! In Nevada we only saw like 6 towns and 3 cool hill and canyon thingies then after that its just dirt, dirt, dirt!!! Lake Tahoe was the coolest, and the prettiest views, other than Wyoming, this place had really nice beaches, and beach walk-on hotels!!! Our little RV my parents rented was pretty nice although where the kids had to sleep wasn’t very nice! It was on a really high perch above the driver seat and even my brother Jack fell out of it in the middle of the night! My brother Pete slept in between my parents and he kept climbing into the sink in the middle of the night! In Idaho we met some of our friends, one used to be my piano teacher when I was really little, and they just happened to be a way point on our trip! We parked in their driveway and slept in our RV. Then the moment we had been waiting for: Yellowstone National Park! Here is some of the stuff we did:

  1. We started our trip in North Lake Tahoe. We stayed at a campground and Jack ate chicken nuggets at a restaurant. My mom just chased around Pete outside and even though we wanted to play we were all so tired we just wanted to find a campground.

2. We drove around to lots of campgrounds before we found one with vacancy, and there had been so much grizzly bear activity lately we didn’t even get out of the RV. We left as soon as we woke up and went fishing at Rainbow Campground in Hebgen Lake. We saw giant swans and lots of deer.

3. We went to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone. We saw a Grizzly bear and wolves up close. This was a spot we circled on our map!

4. We hiked up a waterfall at Lewis Lake. Well.. my dad did. Us kids were in trouble so we had to stay in the RV. It’s hard not to bicker with your brothers when you’re cooped up in a small RV. When we finally stopped we took off racing up the trail to the waterfall and that was it for us! That’s how we got in trouble! Yellowstone can be dangerous and you have to be very careful at all times!!!!!

5. We saw bison. Lots of bison. We saw some in Yellowstone and lots more in Grand Teton National Park.

6. We saw Old Faithful and walked around the discovery center at Old Faithful. That was so cool.

7. We saw lots of hot springs and pools. We didn’t walk on the boardwalks but we just saw them from the road. Too dangerous for so many kids.

8. We hung out at a campground at Fishing bridge where we saw elk walk right through our camp. I made some tools out of sticks and my brother and I dug in the dirt. Pete busted his eyebrow open. It was too windy to take our fishing trip.

9. We saw the Grand Tetons at sunset which was so beautiful. We were driving on our way to Jackson Hole. Star Valley was also really pretty.

10. We stayed at a hotel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The next morning we went to Snow King and there was this amusement park thing that had all these cool mazes and stuff so we could pay them if we bought tickets. So we did! Then there was this roller coaster that we went on and my dad lost his hat! It will never be found again from the speed of that roller coaster! We had ice cream and went on a zip line called the flying squirrel. We went on a ski lift and my mom was able to take Pete on the ski lift in his baby harness. She said that would never happen in California. There was also some celebrities that we got to see there, people were trying to get pictures of them, they go by the names of the “Cardashians”. I don’t know who they are and my mom says that’s a good thing! Anyway, that’s all for Jackson Hole. It was our favorite stop on our road trip.

13. From Wyoming we drove to Utah and stayed the night at a KOA on Antelope Island in Salt Lake City. It was cool to see all the white salt around the lake.

12. From Salt Lake City we drove across Nevada to South Lake Tahoe. We stayed at a hotel that had a door that went right out to the beach. We spent lots of time on the beach and in the lake. We collected rocks and brought them home to show my grandma!

Finally, from Lake Tahoe we drove home. Then we slept in our own beds and it felt so good! My parents said they are not going to rent another RV like that in the future because our water tank didn’t work and there were other troubles too, but we do want to take another road trip again! Soon! That’s the END!

Brothers

Yep, that’s something that we sisters hear almost every day. We love our brothers, but sometimes they can be a little annoying. Like, I have a 1 year old brother and he’s great at crying all night! My parents hate when he does that, but hey as the old saying goes, “You get what you get, and you don’t through a fit!” I certainly threw a fit on the day my 1 year old brother was born because I was convinced he was going to be a sister and I was so shocked when I found out I had yet another brother! My mom has a video of me finding out and I definitely cried, but I said I would love him anyway even though hes not a girl, and I do. He’s the most like me because he likes to play outside and explore. I’m gonna start using their names, Pete is my ” 1 year old brother ” I speak of. Now Jack, Jack well… he’s sorta the indoor kid, not your average, ” Hey let’s go play outside!” kinda kid. Nope that’s not him. He wants to be a YouTuber someday soon. He would more than anything rather stay inside cuddled up in the warmest of the blankets watching YouTube or playing the Xbox, and you won’t get him off of that screen for a while. My parents have to give him limits, and he still cries when they tell him his time is up, even though he knows it’s coming! When he gets a new game its like his brain turns into an XBox Villa. Jack is pretty good at math and reading though, and spelling too! He’s on a third grade spelling list even though he’s only in first grade! I’m in fourth grade, he’s gonna catch up to me in no time! Now Alec, my half brother. He’s like both me and Jack, he likes to play indoors and outdoors! He just turned 13. He can always make me laugh, or like once he made us laugh so badly I was drinking milk and when I did I had to run to spit out because I laughed so hard!!! I got it all over my hair and my mom was not so happy about that! We all get along pretty well and we look out for each other, and we all help with baby destructo- Pete!!! Well I guess you could say I’m lucky to have my brothers. All sisters should be lucky to have brothers, Jesus made them for us and we should be grateful for that! Anyway, Bye-Bye!

And as my brother Jack said, some people don’t trust Jesus, so lets remember how blessed we are to have Jesus in our hearts on Christmas and always!
